Please can everyone have swim kits in school from Tuesday. If there are enough children, we will be starting on Tuesday afternoon. I have already had parents telling me that they have been practicing putting the swim hat on with their child. Really well done, it is lovely that your children are becoming so much more independent. A little talc in the hats makes it even easier. Please make sure all items are named especially hats. A reminder about kits;
No goggles as we do water safety and splashes to the face are the norm as we play different games.
Swim hat, these can be purchased from the office. If your child is on the medical register then they will need to wear a red cap.
Crocs/ cheap footwear to wear between classroom and pool.
Towel.
Swim trunks ( not baggy swim shorts ) for boys and a one piece costume for girls.
We will be swimming 1-2 times a week and swim kits will go home after each swim. At the moment we are scheduled to swim on a Tuesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon although Mrs Dix has busy plans at the moment. However if we have kits in school it may well be another slot can be used.
